More Ferrets

(Acrylic paint on large Water Color paper)

I had to do a piece about a problem in the world today that needs to be addressed for an art class. I wanted to keep painting ferrets so I decided to approach the issue of improper pet care.

Too often people keep intelligent animals who need a lot of room and attention in small cages and improperly care for them. If you're going to purchase an animal, make sure you do a ton of research about it, give it an adequate and enjoyable place to live and take responsibility for its quality of life.
Thanks for viewing my artwork and please take good care of your pets!

Alien Insect Bust Faux Metal Resin Copy

Last weekend I was fortunate enough to attend an event called Monsterpalooza in Los Angeles. Luckily I was able to paint this casting and glue the antennas on in time to bring it with me. It was a pleasure meeting everyone there as well as great to see old friends again. If you are interested in purchasing a copy of this piece either as a blank resin copy or a metal painted version, please send me a message via my website: http://www.ericrosenbergsart.com .

Winged Lion - Watercolor

Hello, finally got something new to report. This is the first watercolor piece I have done since I was a very young and I am quite pleased with the result. Unfortunately I rushed through the preliminary sketch and there are a few anatomical inaccuracies that are bugging me but I wanted to show my work candidly without any Photoshop tampering (other then adjusting the lighting slightly).

Upon further thought I decided to correct a few things, the top image is altered a bit to help correct initial errors.

New Female Figure WIP

Finally sculpting again! This is just an exercise / study in human anatomy using Chavant NSP medium. It's not quite done yet, still unsure how far I'm going to go with this piece. We'll see what happens.

Howard (2013)

Hello everyone, I apologize for the lack of substantial updates. Due to school work I have been too busy to create any new sculptures (my preferred medium). Here's a piece I created (for a class) titled "Howard", the original sketch was done using a Bic pen and a mechanical HB pencil. The coloration and lighting was achieved through the use of Adobe Photoshop. Hopefully I will sculpt something new soon. Thanks for looking, have a great day!
